I visit a library that is full of books for kids like me.
At my library. . .
- I borrow and read books that are interesting and informative.
- I read about events that happened long ago. I read about the current events happening in my world. I do not have to agree with what I read, but I have the right to know how other people think about the past and present.
- All library books are displayed. I choose which books to read. The library protects my freedom to choose.
- I express myself. I learn about new ideas.
- I feel welcomed. It does not matter where I was born, my age, or how I see the world.
- All student groups and clubs can meet, and display their projects in the library.
